That may be my favourite photo from the entire history of the Forum! Go, Randel! :DCheers man - C[/quote]

That's quite a hat's off mate when you think back to that photo of Ceri in flight with his guitar. Suggest you find yourself a specialist in physical medicine first and see what non-surgical options are available to you.[ Ceri's got a point there about holding the scalpel at bay.] Too often the approach to these nerve compression issues is more from a palliative relief one rather than correcting the pathology. You want to try to do the latter without having your back opened.

Really nice seeing you in here again and The Nutter lurking around as well.

Dude, nice work on the sit ups you must be ripped!

With all the time he spends in the South Pacific I'm surprised he didn't get that way dancing hula or something similar.

Howdy!

A Big Hairy thank you to all for sending mojo my way. T'is much appreciated. :D

Ceri, advice was invaluable. I can now sneeze without writhing around in excruciating pain afterwards. Happy days!

Had some more bad news on Thursday, but that was balanced out shortly after by a fairly positive start to my Physiotherapy. Looks like we're going to start with some "Nerve Gliding" exercises and build up to strengthening exercises later.

And guess what? My Physiotherapist is young, enthusiastic with a positive attitude. Oh yeah, and female.

Wass-up, Doc! :D

Yeah, not too keen on anyone pok'in around inside me!

Work saps a lot of my free time these days, but I still check in whenever I can. I spoke to The Nutter on the phone just the other day and he's all good! Hopefully we'll meet up over the festive period for some ale fuelled guitar savagery! 8)

Hi 12B!

Yeah Randel is pretty fussy too, when it comes to cat biscuits. To be honest, once he'd mauled his way into that bag of Dreamies he was fairly unimpressed with the contents... But if Ceri asks... Randel loved them!

Thanks again folks & I hope you all have a good weekend!

Cheers!

Thanx Andy

Your welcome & best of luck with the mod!

Hi Andy,

Hope your back will get better. I once had a broken shoulder. It grew back together without any help. But physiotherapy prevented me from having a "frozen shoulder". When you don't use a joint for a while it "glues" together, leaving you with stiffness and in my case not being able to lift my arm above my shoulder. It all healed very well though. I can play my guitar through 3 sets of 1 hour without any problem.
Physiotherapy is very underrated, in my opinion. I hope it will help you as much as it helped me. And my physiotherapist was a man, so it will work even better in your case.

I tried your mod with the S1-switch and it works very well. I now have a strat with all 5 normal strat tones and all the S1-down options.

Thanx again,

Serge

Hi Serge,

Good to hear another Physio success story & thanks for the well wishes, man! :D

Sweet!

I can't tell how good it is to hear that this works! So many of the users who request a diagram never let me know if they were successful or not. This mod is one I wasn't able to try out myself, so there is a certain amount of theory crafting that's nice to get confirmed.

So a Big Hairy thanks to you! 8)

Cheers!

Andy

Hahaha - noted!

Well then, I hold in my hand some Webbox Salmon & Trout Delights. If Randel doesn't know 'em I'll bring some with me next time and we'll see what he makes of those. Here, The Cat Charles woke me this morning by jumping up and down on my head till I gave him a Webbox Delight, so they must have something going for them - apart from smelling like... gnnnugh...

I had a couple of highly inspiring young women physios, which was just great. But in fact the person who really got me round the corner was an extremely scary middle-aged Polish guy in an ankle length black leather Gestapo coat which turned out to be an accurate visual guide to his attitude. I can tell you, I did exactly what that man told me! And it worked.

Cheers - C

Oooh! "Webbox Salmon & Trout Delights". Sounds industrial and posh at the same time, Impressive! Hope it's not too posh. Took me a while to ween Randel off Sheba a while back.

All the best to you the Cat Charles!

Andy

I don't think something that looks exactly the same when it comes out as to when it went in could be described as posh...
