I heard from a luthier that if a neck finished by nitrocellulose finish, it will be aged (being darker yellow or brown) faster. What do you think 'bout it?

Hello Leonarddusnn,

That luthier is correct, nitro-cellulose finish
has little ultraviolet stability, which is a
good thing when it comes to guitars.

Some manufacturers add toner to make
things look like they've been a little further
down the road.

Cheers.

If you want to age it faster you need to expose it to UV. Put it in a tanning booth - it will sunburn just like you do (much better than just leaving it sit in front of a window or outside.) Be careful you don't cook it though. I don't know what Fender uses on strats, but traditional guitar glues start to soften at about 140 degrees F.
