I realize that this is the longest longshot in the history of man. About 6 years ago I owned the guitar that you see below which is a 1995 Fender Stratocaster Plus. It was all original and it was my favorite guitar. I had a friend that was in serious need and so i sold the guitar to help him out. That was a long time ago and his hard times are now over, also, we are still very close. I sold it on ebay while I college, although, it was placed on his ebay account. He helped me look in his sold history but the archive had expired and there is no longer a record of it. I took the pictures of the guitar and, of course, i didn't take any of the serial number.

Anyways, what i'm getting at is this, I loved that guitar. It may sound weird to say but, I think about it all the time. I just recently stumbled upon these pictures on my friends computer. My hard drive crashed a long time ago so i thought they were long gone and i didn't know they still existed. I really do miss the guitar. I know whoever has it probably feels the same way. I don't expect to ever get it back but I guess, now that have pictures, maybe someone will know where it is. I just want to know that it's in good hands, that's all.

While I don't have the serial number of it, I do have close up pictures of the body, as seen below, which can help identify the woodgrain. That would help confirm whether you may have this guitar or one of the many other blueburst strat plus' that were made in the 90s.

Thank you and take care.

I think if that guitar had been mine, I would want it back, too!

I've sold three through the years that I, too, think about often and wish I had never let out of my hands.

I can't really say that of any of the women I let loose of early in my life...

I know exactly how you feel. I bought a used Les Paul Custom about 12 years ago in a small guitar store for a great price and sold it a year later for double what I paid for it, but regardless of that, I now really wish I'd kept hold of it :(

I guess we all have "the one that got away". It makes you treasure what you do have even more. It's at least fun to think back on guitars you have had in the past. Oh how I miss bluey!

I can certainly understand your feelings. I have owned a few guitars that I wish I had never sold. It gets to be a sentimental type thing. In the 70s I owned and played an 1962 Epiphone Crestwood Custom, and now I find myself looking for one just like the one I owned—but then see they sell for around $3000, I talk myself out of it!

Also my player Strat is like the one you sold. (See Below). Mine is a 1991 an I have converted the wiring to the Ultra configuration.. I can tell by the picts you posted the one you owned was a 1995 or later as the serial number is not on the front of the headstock. Also in mid-1993 Fender replaced the Wilkinson Nut with the LSR nut (which yours had). I hope you find another one. If you want to see more about these guitars check out my website listed by my avatar.
