Has anyone ever purchased a Fender Strat Blem from MF?

I have my eye on a Fender Lite Ash Strat (Black) Blem from MF that's listed at about $80 off the regular price.

I'm tempted to buy it because I've heard of folks who have purchased amp blems and found nothing wrong with them; but, I'm also very particular about my gear and don't want to be disappointed.

What is your experience with blems from MF?

Thanks.

I have purchased blem products from Musicians Friend but not any Fender products. I have been pleased with my purchases in the past. One thing I do recommend is to call them to place your order. Sometimes the operate has more information as to why it is a blem then they post on their website. The operator informed me the Jackson I was purchasing had slight scratches but when I got it I couldn't find any. Hope that helps.

Don't want you to read any "bark" in to this but if
You Want Perfection You need to to pay the Perfection Price.
Blems at MF are usually returnable so if it's too ugly you can return it.
You can some times buff out scratches in the finish much like we used to buff out cars...pick guards can be replaced...

I've bought Blem stuff from them before and If I got it and did't want it they took it back with no problem. I hate to buy gutiars from them because I would rather play them first but what do you have to lose you may find a diamond in the rough....if not return it . Good luck

There is "some" risk involved, but I believe that the blems are also covered by their 30-day return policy. I'm not sure who pays for return shipping ?

You've got a good return policy... go for it. What have you got to loose?
