I'm looking about information on this stratocaster deluxe plus from 1991.
I have send an email to Fender's support but their database ended in 1995 so they can't tell me how many guitar like that they have build.
If someone know how to retrieve this kind of information i will be happy to know that.
Serial number : N1051341

You might try www.guitardaterproject.com.

I'm not really sure if they carry this info but it's worth a look.
Heck I didn't know Fender kept that kind of info at all; seems they should have that stuff though; I mean how do you show what your doing? From a business point of view....

Thanks for your attention....
I think that they should have this kind of information...but the contact mail that i have found on the website didn't give me the contact to the good person probably.
I have found no more information on www.guitardaterproject.org than that it has been made in Corona in 1991.
I don't understand your last sentence...what do you mean exactly?

What I ment was that from a business point of view I think you would keep track of what your your producing/ rates; to figure profit and loss; effectivness of management,etc...but they probably don't keep the records from that far back; the IRS (tax authority in this country) doesn't care much past 3 years...

Ok...it's the same in France...but i was thinking that for the history of the trademark..they keep in memory the model...and of course the specific models that they've build.
So i've learned today that it's called a firestorm finish and the serial number is not common (it miss the D for deluxe). But this is well a Strat Deluxe Plus.
The guy who tells me that is a specialist in strat deluxe plus. He has seen 6 model like that Tele and Strat version always from people looking for information.
I'm always looking for how many models have been build ;o)

Check www.amazon.com for books on Fender; I'm sure there are books covering that. I would be surprised if there wasn't a French version of amazon.com.

Have you asked Fender customer Service yet? They have an e-mail and a toll (at least in the US) free phone number. They have excellent people there; I have talked with them before; it was a great experiance!
Hope you get your answer!

Isn't that a Strat "Plus" guitar? I owned one in the 90's. Lace sensors and nice wood.

Yes it's a deluxe plus strat from 1991 in Firestorm finish. I want to sell it so that's why i have to know how many model have been build by Fender. It is really heavy, somebody tell me that they use the same wood than for the custom shop..but i need a confirmation from Fender.
I have already send an email to the Fender Customer service with the serial number of the guitar and they've replied to me that their database ended in 1995 so they can't give me any information about it.
I'm looking for an email for the Corona fabric where i probably can be more lucky.
I'm French and not fluent in english...giving a call to Fender cutomer service can be funny

I have a 1991 Strat Plus, Wilkinson Nut, Hipshot Trem (I think). Lace Sensor Gold pickpups, Locking Tuners (not sure if the are Sperzel or Schaller).

Yours was made about 1500 before mine.
