There are a variety of "Blues" now. From Southern, to LA, to Lomis, to Texas style Jimmy Vaughn....to Water Melon Slim....to Rober Cray (which I like)...to Claptons style....man, there is too much out there.

It completly is in reguards to what type of Blues your talking....personal taste...it's all personal.

I just heard someone from Billboards top 10 relate to his friend that: "I'm going to Southern Rock, there is no money in the Blues...."

Darn, that's why it's the blues brother. Love is in the music, not the money.......so, he ain't my favorate...seems a shame.

I've learned from my mistakes. I totally agree with you but you have to spell it Stevie Ray Vaughan or you'll get moaned at by the 'oldies'.

Just kidding!

SRV surely had soul.Have you seen the pics of him in a concert.Face is drenched in sweat, can barely grab the neck and still manages to push on. If there was anyone that admired me more was Stevie Ray Vaughan.

That's cool that Stevie Ray admired you so.

I like Jimi, Redhouse is still one of my all time favorites.
