thanks for all the good info. iv'e only had my strat 2 days and can already see never getting rid of it. i guess i should name it. and if anyone is contemplating buying an mim strat you get my endorsement.
i think vitamin is a good name.

I have two strats and a tele. I consider my MIM strat to be my workhorse of guitars. I do most of my practicing with that one.

I bought a MIM Strat in '07. It's a great guitar. The only thing I had to do to it was add a couple of extra springs to the bridge, 'cuz I like heavier gauge strings.
