Hi,

Few days ago I was looking on a site and came across this guitar. I've never heard of Bird guitars and it's really hard to find some information. What I know is that it's an early 70s Japanese strat. I can buy it for like $100 and maybe it can be a cool project guitar.

Maybe one of you guys ever owned one or played one and well, any type of information is more than welcome!

Thanks!

It is what it is, an imported "bottom feeder" from the early '70s that had more different brand names slapped on it than Bayer has aspirin tablets.

Made in Japan in the 70s and may therefore be a good deal!

If the body is not Plywood, the frets are good, the neck is straight and the truss rod works, it should be a good project guitar. Go for it. :D

For a hunnert bucks you cain't go wrong.

Hell, your wife will spend that much at the mall this Saturday on a pair of shoes!

And a month from now she'll be dropping them off at the Salvation Army collection bin because whatever color they were is now passé.

Haha, great comments Arjay.
Thanks for the reactions! Guess I will go have a look and see if the guitar is okay and feels right. Hope it does!
