New to the forum, hope I am posting to correct place.
Just bought this strat and trying to determine exactly what I have.
I can't decide if it is a standard, deluxe or something else.
I have looked on the Fender site and I get close but can't tie all the facts to one model.
Appears to be a 2007 serial Z7228XXX
Finger board= rosewood white pearl dots
Color= white or pearl (looks more like pearl)
22 frets
3 single pickups
1 five way switch
1 volume, 2 tone controls
Staggered offset tuners
Chrome Hdwe.

Looks like the American Standard to me.

It's likely a very early 2008-spec American Standard in olympic white. Why does a 2008 have a 2007 serial number? Fender has historically done the first runs of their new models in advance. The "new" American Standards were introduced at the January 2008 NAMM show, so Fender did the first runs of the new models at the end of 2007 and therefore they carry 2007 serial numbers. Fender has done this for several of the models that they introduced at the January NAMM show - I personally had a 2004-spec American Deluxe with a 2003 serial number for a while; and I know Fender did this again with the Amerian Specials and the 2010-spec American Deluxes.
