I bet it still weighs less than mid seventies Les Paul or a 25th Anniversary Stratocaster

Actually, I really like it, think it's long overdue and always wondered why Fender (whatever dynasty at large) didn't come out with one many years ago.

As always, this is merely IMO where YMMV.

HOLY 18-STRINGER BATMAN... !!

That's a handfull to say the least.

Love the Titanium Truss Rod !!

Probably necessary to keep it under 35 lbs. !!

It's a Not-for-Export Model, so unless you travel there or have someone who can get it for you, you'll have to put out the fire your $3,200 is burning through your pocket !!

More info here: http://www.licklibrary.com/news/2012/10 ... Neck_Strat

cheers!

So often the wacky, left field stuff comes from Fender Japan. This was the Yngwie Malmsteen doubleneck, complete with scalloping on both fingerboards:

BTW: Ishibashi amongst others can supply anything you want that is in the current CIJ catalog. Several Forum users here have bought from them and found their service reliable.

Cheers - C

The YJM Double Neck came with double set of three DiMarzio HS-3 Stack humbuckers and a 5-way pickup selector.

Here's another double neck Strat from the CS built by Art Esparza:
