Mex to Am? They all had the "50th" badge, misnomer to call the MIM models "50th Ann", only the Am was really the "50th Ann" model. JAG. :?:

ya call yerself a noob, yet say you haven't bought a strat in 25 years? That tells me you have done this before.. so you are no noob.

I on the other hand, am one. Just got my first strat ever a few weeks ago. Only picked up guitars about a year ago thru the Guitars for Vets program.

Either way, welcome! Lots of good info here about fender guitars and the guys here know just about everything you could even think of asking.

And the sound! wow.. never never in my wildest dreams thought I would be playing even the basic stuff, let alone as good as I am doing..

Gotta love it!
