The consensus appears to be that you should squirrel away your coin for the best possible opportunity. That said, I reitterate my thought that, for the price of a decent MIM Stratocaster at Guitar Center, Sigler is your best shot at the 'copy' you seek at a reasonable price.

I find Guitar Center a good online shop, but when I select my country to check the prices in Euros, there aren't any Squier/Fender guitars availabe, only Corts and such... but nevermind.
I browsed the US shop a bit and found this: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-FSR- ... 1559901.gc
Better deal?

Save your money for a stratocaster; even a used MIM is way better than a Squier. A Squier is an entry, entry, entry, entry level guitar for a 10 year old. The frets are horrible. Buy a strat. Solved.

That's the 'snapshot' guitar I referred to in my earlier comments. That will give you the 'look' you seek, but not the electronics. The Sigler guitar will give you the pickups and wiring, including the mini-toggle, that the Gilmour Custom Shop Signature Series guitar contains, and the short trem arm as well. You can compare the two.

If you are in Germany you can take a look here: www.thomann.de

A mexican standard Strat is around 450€

Ok, lets get to a conclusion. Does Sigler ships to Europe? If yes, it will be a strong hypothesis. It would save me time and money getting the eletronics and such, aswell the pickups.
Now another hypothesis, the Fender Mexican. 450€ (new)? Tempting. If I buy it, should I do modifications and change the pickups?

Go into the Sigler website and do some reading. They sell their 920 mods. They also sell a variety of prewired pickguards which you can install in another guitar. It's your budget and your coin toss. We've enjoyed the opportunity to help you plow the road. You certainly have enough information now to come to the decision which best suits your circumstances. Let us know what you finally decided to do.

Well, Sigler has got some really cool guitars and they look exactly what I was looking for. The problem is that the shipping cost and the tariffs may be very expensive, due to the fact that the shipment must cross the entire Atlantic Ocean to reach my country.
Dont know yet. Lets wait some days. I already contacted Sigler to get info about the shipping fees. If it goes to much expensive, maybe I gotta buy a Fender MIM and buy some mods.
Gotta ask my musical teacher and talk to my father about the money. What we're talking about costs lots of money and I'm not rich.
