I change my connections selector on my Strat Classic 50s and here is the result:
1 - neck
2-neck / middle
3-midle/bridge
4-cou/bridge
5-bridge
The sounds are interresting and beautiful, when do you think?

I'm not sure what, "cou/bridge means."

But I do have push/pull pot on one of my Strats that allows me to use:
neck/bridge
neck/middle/bridge

as well as all other regular pickup configuerations.

I like the neck/bridge selection for a Strat. Makes it sound like a Tele, very cool. I believe that "Cou" in French means "neck" in English. BTW, position 1 is bridge, 5 is neck.

I agree with you about he neck/bridge thing sounding like a Tele. The best way to describe it is the sound Eric Clapton got with his Tele with Blind Faith.

I love the neck/bridge position on the Ultra, it's the one I'm using the most when playing rythm, except with heavy distortion/fuzz where I go for the humbucker in the bridge.
