I have been using eb 11-48 on my squier strat but i am thinking of putting on hybrid slinkys 9-46 on my new american standard because i think i have a better feel at slightly lighter gauge.

D'Addario 10's for many years

recently picked up a few sets of the new EB Cobalts,

they feel different, offer enhanced clarity/output, and improved touch response, (for example legato runs there is a appreciable difference in how notes will ring out)

They seem to settle down faster once you put them on and they hold tune nicely.

I was reading some of what EB had to say about the design of these strings, and they contend alnico based pickups (which are made of cobalt) is a big part of the magic with these strings.

I take the wire snips and cut off some good strong barbed wire from
the prison fence. Sustained for days... :D

...but seriously, I'm always switching around on electrics, but stay with
D'Addario 14's for acoustic.

The EB regular slinkys were an utter disaster, D'Addaio .10 were good, GHS boomers were ok.

But my fav are the super bullets .09.

Need to go and get some more

I've tried various Slinkys on all of my guitar at one time or another ever since they were introduced, and have absolutely hated them on every guitar. I've pretty much settled on Super Bullet .09s on my Strat, and Boomers on everything else.
