Really nice looking Stratocaster!

Is it me, or does that neck look a little dry and like it could use a little Fretboard oil..??

Or they are made by Ping. (If they were stock to the guitar in '06 they were likely Fender/Schaller, but if they were aftermarket and recently added they could be Ping.

This is just a guess, but is it possible that someone made some changes to the guitar? They could have added the "F" plate and changed out the stock Ping tuners for the locking version. And they could have changed out a stock HSS for a loaded SSS pickguard. I think it looks nice but I would be surprised to see a tortoise shell PG on a red body. I would think white, black or parchment are the norm.
