Hand's down, George Lynch's cables for quality and price. Everything else in that price range sounds icky to me.

I use Spectraflex for longer, Cordial+Neutrik for pedalboard.

Spectraflex for longer runs, George L's for pedals.

My main Spectraflex is getting on for 18 years old now - it's been dragged around, stepped on, run over and immersed in various beverages, but still keeps on going and sounds absolutely superb. If I'd known all that time ago that I'd still be using it 18 years (and probably thousands of gigs) later, I'd have bought it in a different colour.

There's not really that much to choose between the premium brands, once you get above a certain quality level most things are similarly awesome.

Must admit that I borrowed a rather nifty Evidence Lyric cable recently which had my wallet twitching, as it was the only cable I've ever used which sounded noticeably better than the Spectraflex. I'd heard all the praise about them, and was rather sceptical, but it really was a nice bit of kit. Bloody expensive though.

As long as there is a Neutrik jack plug, I don't care.

Cheers

David

Are you talking about George L. cables? The company is named after its founder -- George L. Lewis.

If you're talking about actual George Lynch cables, which ones? The discontinued American Recording Technologies George Lynch Signatures or the current Spectraflex "Mr. Scary" cables?

...which ones are those? Whichever ones those are, them's those!

Those are George L cables -- no relation to George Lynch.

(Besides being a monster guitarist, Lynch is an endorsement $@!$ who's lent his name to dozens of products so the confusion is understandable. It's kind of ironic that George L is one of the few companies he's had no ties to.)
