help me to find original pickguard on strat plus 89

I bought a beautiful '89 Stratocaster with a gold pickguard, but I want to put the original pickguard without making more holes in the guitar. In my country there is no dealers and shops with original parts. I've bought on eBay two piсkgards but they did not fit the holes... in my guitar has a lot of holes for the pickguard (30 instead of 11!). But purchased by me pickguards on eBay did not fit! Please tell me how I can buy the original pickguard with the correct holes to my strat? :cry:

I believe that Strat Pluses from that era would have just used the same pickguards as the American Standards; they would have just been 3-ply white back then. What I don't know is if the current American Standard pickguards (2008 or later) are any different than the pickguards used from 1986-2000. Assuming that there have been no changes I would think that a pickguard cut to American Standard specs would fit just fine and should line up with at least some of those 30 holes in the body. 30 holes :shock:

that one's seen a lot of changes over the years!

Some pictures of 1990 Strat plus show same pickgard as American Standard Strat.

John C, You're right, the previous owner did not spare this instrument. this guitar were installed EMG pickups. :twisted:

for the battery was made hole in wood :cry:

(I'm so glad that I found Sensors the same year that the guitar) . probably last owner changed pickguards every season ... I changed a lot of guitars, but sound of this full of holes guitar, I like very much!
