Hey there folks,

Last Christmas I bought a used Fender Stratocaster off of a friend of a friend who visited Japan some years back, he bought there one Candy Apple Red Japanese Fender Stratocaster, which I believe to be the 'standard' as it is modernised with gotoh tuners and the like and does not look like the reissue guitars I see all over Ebay.
I now own it, and wonder why I have not seen a single one elsewhere on every single site and used on-line shops, I have dated the serial back to 1994, (the same age as me) which is amazing considering it hasn't aged a day, I was wondering if there is perhaps anyone else, on the western side of this planet who owns a '90's Japanese standard apart from me!?
Its a fantastic guitar, with some odd features, some very smart and broken away from the plans fender america must have given them. I think its perhaps a very valuable item here, judging by its quality and its sheer beauty and attention to detail. It has a black hard case with all its orgional manuals and tags, even a Japanese receipt! (although its past its date now!)

Please! anyone out there who can help me to feel just a little bit more of a group than a minority of Japanese Fender owners, get in contact!
also anyone who can at least tell me something about this truly wonderful instrument!

Thanks!
- Ziggy, London UK.

Pictures of the guitar(otherwise it would just be guessing) would help any serial number and locations of serial number.

Heres The pictures, theyre pretty blurry but thats the best I could do.
The Head says 'Made in Japan' instead of 'crafted' which in my mind suggests it is older.
the Serial is S052986 and is at the heel of the neck.
