I have both and overall I would say the SG might be best if you can only take one. This is based strictly on the song selection you have listed, and in no way reflects on the two guitars. On the other hand it will depend somewhat on the amp in use and I would take the one you feel you can play the best and the one you are most comfortable with, as that will show off your best efforts. The Strat will be fine but, all things equal, I would take the SG.

I have a 2003 Hot Rod Deluxe. I enjoy playing all my guitars. I own a Les Paul and 2 Telecasters also. They are too damn heavy for my old back. When I gig I take both Strat and SG.

You've got a sense of humor, I like that!

On my budget, I would not bring an SG due to it being so fragile and...Sweet Home Alabama ain't sweet unless it's played on a strat.
