Question for you, I spot a mayer strat and it look fake.

1- does you fender and coutour body sticker is on the finish? Because when I touch the headstock, I can feel the sticker...

2- those your nut have a bit paint on each side? (paint same colour as the neck)

3- those your saddle are not the same metal as you bridge plate? (saddle more darker)

4- do you have a grey plastic "sticker" all over your trem block?

5- 3 pieces body?

6- White/cream dot inlay? On the website its supose to be pearl...?

Thank you!

I ask because the guy ask 800$ for it :P

PS. I talk about a 2006 sunburst version!

How bout some pictures?

Things to Check for:
1. Is it a 60s neck, thick but not as thick
as the hr 62. Truss rod adjustment at the
heel.
2. Tortoise pick guard
3. Big dipper pickups
4. 3 tone sunburst, nitro finish I believe.
No trem plate and 5 strings, vintage saddles.

The neck appears to be authentic, judging from the oddball location of the string tree.

Did you jump on it?
For 800 bucks, is a steal for a John Mayer strat.
The pickups sound very clean even with dirt, there's a lot of
note definition.
It's a great strat, my friend has an am std and an fsr crimson
Mahogany body with a black headstock black pg, tex mex pus
and a humbucker(awesome strat) still jm strat continues to be
his fav
