I had the same problem with a set of texas specials. Just pulled out my trusty tri-tap and made my own threads. Took less than a minute.

If it has the ferrule that would take a tap, that would have been ok. In this case all that was there was a hole through the circuit board. You cannot tap a fibre board.

Fender took care of it quickly and I was happy.
