Intonation is the bridge saddle adjustment to make the strings play the same note open as they do at the 12th fret. This way every played note on every string is the note and not flat or sharp.

You are probably referring to action, which is setting the height of the string from the fretboard.

There are two Alan wrench spots in front of the tremelo give it a turn to lower the action and then it should be better.

If you bought the guitar from a dealer it should have come with the guitar. Did they give you a hard case or soft case? If soft case, look in the front pouch. Look for a bag with tags. If not feel around in the front pouch.

MIM versus MIA take different sized wrenches.

1. Loosen up the low E by about a half a turn
2. Use the alan wrench and loosen the nut by a 3/4 of a turn
3. After you do that, you have to play every note on every string....starting from open E to the 12th fret of that string and so on.
4. If you get a lot of buzz, than you have tightened it to much, but if you get very little, it is fine.
5. If you have absolutely no buzz, and you are not satified with the string height, just repeat this process.

NOTE: When tightening the nut, if you get to the point where you can not turn anymore, STOP, if you go farther you will break the neck.

Hope that helped.

It will only break if it gets to the point at which you cannot turn it anymore.
Plus it cost like $35 so you will be wasting a lot of money buy taking to a shop.....plus it is a skill every player should have.....I do understand if you don't want to do it though.
