So after not being a big Fender guy.......shortly, I will have three Fenders. Fist is a 2003 Highway strat with Dimarzio Injector pickups. Second is a 2012 American Standard Telecaster with Dimarzio Chopper T and Area T. Thirdly will be a 2012 American Standard Strat HSS with Dimarzio Air Zone and Dimarzio singles.

Can you guys give me an idea of what to pay for a new Fender American Standard HSS in Guitar Center? I want to find one that speaks to me but would like to get them under $1000 out the door. I will get in Delaware, no tax.

Thoughts? Do I have it all covered? :)

You should not have to pay more than $999.99 out the door if Deleware truely has no sales tax. A used one should go for around $799.99.
