I've never replaced my single coils with a humbucker and I was wondering if there was anything different I would have to do than if I was putting a single coil in the guitar? Just added info, I'm putting a Fender Custom Shop Texas Special Strat Pickups in the neck and middle, and I'm putting a Gibson BurstBucker Pro Humbucker Pickup in the bridge (replacing the cover with a fender cover, just because I like the looks of it  ). So would there be any different wiring and such? Thanks.

Wiring would be similar, ground and hot.

I just installed a little 59 in bridge along with Texas Specails in mid and neck ,,
Beware of volume and tonal changes with using the second position switch ( bridge and mid pups ) when installing buckers that are hotter than what you're already using... It makes a BIG difference..

I'd heard the TS pups were hot , went out, put up the bucks for em and liked the tone but they're not what I'd call hot. Luke warm would be a better word..
