Hello all,

While I do not own a Strat like one described, I do have a penchant for a white Strat with mint green pickguard.
Most of the guitars I see with this combination seem to be Olympic white though, which left me wondering; "What does an arctic white Strat look like with a mint green pickguard?"

Does anyone have a picture of a guitar like this?

Hi BC9153. I've never seen this color combination on a Strat nor do I know if it was ever in production, but if you want to get an idea of how this would look, may I suggest the Fender Guitar Builder. http://www.fender.com/en-CA/community/guitarbuilder/

HTH Cheers!

Here is one! Several HD pics in the auction!!

It's a strat project (Parts-o-caster) and I can't remember that Fender EVER offered one in Arctic White with greenish pickguard originally from the factory.

They actually look pretty cool.

I bought this guitar just to get the neck!
The guitar turned out to be a fantastic player, so I kept the whole thing and I love it!

You're probably disappointed but I completely ripped it apart, exchanged all fake-relic parts with shiny ones and changed the pickguard to mojo-blue

I sold all the rusty crap and the pickguard and now it looks like this:

I've never seen one but i have the same opinion that Bluer Monkey has.

No, but Tele, Jazzy, and Jag would be nice. Especially if you are thinking about a pricey CS investment.

That actually doesn't look half bad IMO.
I was wondering how the two colors would blend since the commonly seen olympic white has the slightly yellowed look to it...

Of course, there's the cross decal under the clearcoat, but you get the idea of the color combo. Happy hunting!

That strat comes with graphtec saddles actually, I hear it's pretty awesome. I almost bought one, but ended up buying a set of the signature pickups on ebay instead

Hi!
I just wanted to say thanks to the OP because I recently bought a 2000 MIM Arctic White Strat off of CL and the guy who sold it to me threw in a mint green pickguard. After looking at this post, I decided to install it on mine. I also swapped out the stock white plastics for vintage since the arctic white is starting to age. I love this look! Anyhoo, here's a couple pics of mine.

SOLID!

And "Smokin' Frets" did a real nice job on his as well, albeit with the blue-moto pickguard. Very dramatic.

RAWK ON! (both of you)

I love the mint green pick guard on my 3-Color Sunburst AmDeluxe Strat but before this thread if anyone would have suggested a mint green pick guard on an Arctic white Strat I would have thought "what have they been smokin' and keep it away from me". However after seeing the mint green / Arctic white combo I find it a thing of beauty. Really, really, cool.

I don't remember the member's name (it could have been Smokin'Frets) but someone posted a beautiful work of art on a pick guard which was done with a black sharpie. Now I'm thinking Arctic white Strat, mint green pg, and black sharpie combo. 8)
