Hello, my new 2012 strat arrived today and I freaking love it! It was setup ok out of the box, but I lowered the action and adjusted the pickups to my liking. The guitar weighed in at 8lbs even on my digital scale. Olympic white w/rosewood board. Quickly becoming my #1. This is my first stratocaster and I love it. I've got a pic to attach, but I'm not sure how, lol. Will attach when I figure it out.

I have a 2008 Am. Std. Strat. The American Standards are excellent guitars. You'll hear chatter on the forums about cheap bridges and other things, but whatever: these guitars sing. I wouldn't think of modding mine.

I've got the exact same guitar and I love it. The Olympic White with Rosewood board looks awesome. It has to be in the top 2 best playing instruments that I have ever owned, the other also being an American Strat. Good luck with it and have fun!
