Guy is asking $300, looks like a Highway one to me, but doesn't really say.

Ad might be gone soon.

One string tree so might not be, be 22 frets, looks like a walnut plug, but has 6 screw bridge so I don't know.

I would lean more toward MIM standard based on the price. also the finish looks like gloss to me. to know for sure you would need the serial number and better photos.

well it's a 22 fret neck, could be a partscaster though. Fender logo looks american, can barely see it but thats what it looks like to me.

hrmmm i didn't even catch that  its possible it could be a buffed highway one. its worth a look at that price. you will know for sure when you see it in person.
for some reason the burst looks funny to me but it could be the lighting.

I say take a peek at it

I always loved the early highway one's.
the transparent Honey blonde model is my favorite and very classy.
those are great prices though, when they were discontinued the price jumped on used ones

this will help show what i mean by the burst looking odd

there is no visible yellowish orange in the center on that one. also the gap around the neck at the pick guard looks off. that may just be a parts caster :?

He posted more pics and the body looks a little funky, and the plug in the neck looks solid, not like an american neck.

Says in the ad it's a Warmoth neck, though the fret dots look wrong even for a Warmoth neck (based on their website pics).

Body doesn't look right. Hard to tell but doesn't look like bent saddles
looks like a 2 tone burst which would mean it "has" to be a classic 50's body, and it doesn't look right for that
neck plate it very poorly installed
holes for trem cover looks like Squier pattern

I'd stay away

Nice guitars, I agree, but can't keep from changing things on it:

well at least now I don't have to drive out there to look at it, it was a long drive.

I like the early Highway ones, like there was a greenish transparent color, it was cool.
