Hi, first post, would be very grateful for some help. My Dad's friend gave him what looks like a Fender Strat neck to give to me. I've hunted on google with no joy and wondered if it was a fake or the real thing. Unfortunately I can't post a pic, but it's unlike a strat neck I've ever seen. The neck itself looks like it's made from mahogany with a rosewood fretboard. The headstock is painted white with older looking machine heads, not the split pole ones, but rectangular covers like pyramids over the mechanisms. The truss rod is accessed from the the end of the neck rather than the headstock end, there is one string T on the headstock. There's a fender logo on it with original contour body pat. pend.
