Post subject: Newbie here. Help me date my vintage Strat

I looked at the dating guide at the Fender site and the sn on my Natural Strat (S768824) indicates it is a 1977. When I took the neck off there were numbers on the back of the neck (875) stamped in green. The stamp was on the back of the neck not the bottom of the neck. Nothing in the neck joint cavity. The pots are stamped AUD 1015 CTS 054032. Do these other numbers have anything to do with the date?

For picture ,

1- Go to Photobucket ,download your picture there.

2- Chose your picture and a window will open ,choose IMG copy

3- Copy on Fender forum answer 's windoe
