Just called my local dealer (sounds shady but guitar buying can be addictive) and ordered a deluxe v-neck 2-color sunburst. Will take a few weeks to get here so in the interim I bought a three ply BWB pick guard that I am going to put on my EC black Strat I bought this spring. Not that I dislike the white on black, I don't like the single ply buckling. I think the black will look good with the white center ply and white knobs & pups. We'll see when it's done. I'll upload some new picks when my "dealer" comes through!

Forgot current pics of the electric family. Haven't taken pics of the Martin trio I have but that would be for another forum anyway I guess.

Congrats, that's a nice family photo, loving the ec,loving the gibby
One question. What is the reasoning for the am delx v neck?
Don't get me wrong, the delx are top notch strats, but I would
have sprung for a hr 57 or a AVRI 57 strats.
I had a delx v neck the neck was great, finish was great except
I like nitro or thin skin more than poly. and prefer vintage or Hot
Rod over modern etc etc,

I just really like the versatility of the S-1 Circuitry. I have played a couple of the new deluxe models and like the range of tones it produces. I also like the feel of the V-neck over the modern c shape plus it is vintage tinted. Something I wish my EC Strat had compared to a “white” neck. I have played a wide range of music using several 6 and 12 string guitars I have along with banjo over the years but recently I have been moving more and more to electric. I play through either a Fender Princeton Chorus or a Marshall JMD-102, which gives me almost an unlimited amount of pure fun! I can’t wait for the new family member.

I used to keep my picks like that. Have you ever tried the Wedgies before? Fits by headstock. Just saying, not an advert for them.

I've got a friend who keeps a pick wedged in his guitars' strings right over the second fret - every single guitar, in the case or out. Me, I like to keep my picks on the tops of my amps or on the floor.

The majority of my picks are usually found under the sofa or stuck between the cushions.
