Reads well. Any pedals?
Room completely closed off with rugs and carpeted walls
or in a room with wooden floors for more echo?

Make a clip and share which songs sound good on those settings.

I dunno about anyone else, but it all depends on the room ambience and the listeners' appeal. I begin by setting my amp control knobs with everything mid-way and adjust according to the room acoustics. I tend to believe I have a good ear for tonality.

I kinda of start middle as well, except for volume.

But, I was playing a hot Strat last night through my 1994 Tone Master.
I'm at that exploration stage towards taking notes to get a good sense
which amps match well with which guitars. Wow! Did this Strat bring
out the Tone Master's earliest speaker break-up ~ as I raised the gain knob
from 0 to 1 to 2 and whammo! The most awesome dirty sound without
scaring away the neighbors

Hi There!

Can anyone help me how to set my Mustang III to get the similar sound as the link below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lV26XRqeBE0
The giutar voice is really great and clear, but I can't do the setting how to get it.

If anyone can give me an advice I would appreciate it.
Please check the youtube video.
Thanks in advance!

I am betting he has a chorus and a distortion pedal.
What do you think?

Just guessing is in my opinion, whatever settings are within the Mustang,
he still has exterior pedals. If correct, then it is not all Mustang.
Then, you'd have to recreate on the Mustang without pedals
and I believe it can be done. Just a lot of trial and error work.

Or, email the guitarist. Toppscore

Yes, Toppscore you're right. I've checked it he use a multi effects pedal by ZOOM called the GFX-8
But I think the mustang III amp is smart enough to creat a similar song as he do, but I'm not an expert in this field how to set the amp for the similar level...

You know, we are so used to plugging in the amp to the wall
and then plugging in our guitars.

Just consider this journey a learning experience,
If you use it everyday, you'll get it down.
Only once in a while, you'll get frustrated.
First of all, just get the hang of the tones, sounds, selections & options.

Later, make sure to write down all of the settings you like.
Also, make sure to write down certain steps or procedures to get desired results.

Good luck. Hope this helps. Toppscore :)

Thats a boat load lot of reverb and presence..... Try your neck and middle if it's normal wiring tone to ten and reverb 2-3 ,presence off and try get the amp tuned to the guitar clean and driven then work up from there... That much reverb and presence then Turning it all Back with the guitar tone pots is a bit topsy turvy..go for that fender clean BD sound get that right then your drive sounds will sound better when you change up a gear..... Just a suggestion..... :|

That's a fair enough start but not with the reverb.... Start that at two..... And defiantly not with the guitar tone pots.... I suppose unless your jazzing or something....but still you have to wonder about your pups if you don't like how they sound tone on ten....jmho..... See what you think..... :|
