I recently purchased a used fender blacktop that was already slightly modded and i made a few more updates to it. The guitar is in near mint condition and was wondering if by applying mods i increased value or decreased value.

My buddy said that i'm an idiot 'which i am anyway' because true fender dudes and dudets want everything original. Personally i like a tricked out guitar and was wondering what your opinions might be. How much would you pay for this guitar?

Mexican made fender guitars don't really hold value well so there isnt a big concern over originality. with the mexican guitars people usually pay the same modded or not.
