I'm looking for an American Deluxe, in red. Musicians friend doesn't have that color. Any idea where I find one in red? :D :?:

Hello Deluxestrat1224,

Currently:

The American Deluxe is not available in red.

The American Deluxe V-neck is available in
Candy Apple Red but with maple neck only.

I'm not sure about past issues.

Cheers.

Is there a difference between the V-necks and the C-necks???

Hello Deluxestrat1224,

Yeah it's a pretty major difference,
Clapton series guitars are the most
notable V-necks. I once owned a Martin
with a V-neck it was fine but I adapt
easily some do not.

You really should try and make an opportunity
to play both, best of luck.

Cheers.

I own an Ovation "Legend" which I think (not sure) is a V neck. Anyway.....the back of the neck sure looks like a V to me. I can play it, however I prefer the C neck, which is what I have on my two strats. I think the C neck is a much easier neck to play.

I have a Brian Setzer gretsch, i didn't know what a V neck was, when i played it, is was perfect, it is a very comfrotable shaped neck on this guitar, of course it would be nice to try it, like i did before purchasing.

peace
