You should just go through all the posts in the forum. I've learned quite a lot, just from reading.

I have a Standard Strat HSS (made in Mexico), that I've had for years and just love. I also have an American Deluxe Strat SSS, and a '72 Thinline Tele (double humbuckers).

All three are great guitars. I think the strats have the best feel and are the easiest to play for me.

Just be in hawg heaven... my first electric was a Yamaha... 25 years ago. It was also my first guitar with a tremolo. I hardly used the trem because it was so tempermental. Sometimes the saddles would come out of tune between a fresh setup and the car ride to the rehersal or gig. Rebuilding a badly beaten Les Paul saved me from that nightmare.

Welcome to the real thing!

I think the word ''next'' is missing from Jimi's song Voodoo Chile

Hello Fender Strat,

Keep it clean and in the same temp and humidity
thats comfortable for humans and you'll have
years of fun. And like Murdochart says
"Play the hell out of it."

Cheers.

If you're like alot of us, you'll probably want to start changing out parts like saddles, pickups, and blocks!!!

My FENDER was handed down to me by my great-grandfather. Too bad I cant play it very well. But I try. Still learning about all the do and donts with any guitar. I do know what sounds good though. FENDER is the only way to go.
GOOD LUCK!

It's important to know that the strings it came with from the factory are .009 Fender Bullet strings. If you go to a different string gauge, you may need to set up the guitar again.
