I recently purchased a KWS strat. I really like the neck and pickups. However the low E string is a tad bit closer to the edge of the fretboard then my Jeff Beck strat. It can be seen with the naked eye. The reason I looked at this is sometimes when soloing with the KWS the low E string will slip off of the fret board. Is this a nut issue and can be fixed with a new nut?

Can you post a picture?

Possibly the neck needs to be moved a little? Loosen the four neck screws and tilt the neck towards the high-E side, then re-tighten the screws.
