BTW. I know some people might think why am I playing this song with a Fender Strat and not a Gibson Les Paul? But please forgive me if the tone is bad. I only have Fender Strat and I really love this song... Cheers!

Guitar: Fender 57 Reissue Strat Maple Neck MIJ Since 1993
Amp: Roland Micro Cube

Ah, you're apologizing about using a Strat instead of a LP and about the Strat tone being bad?!?!? On the Strat forum?!?!

Been nice knowing you while you were a member here  :x

Nice job, btw.

Hahah sorry my bad XD I just thought Strat lovers might hate me for using Strat to play a song that most people think would be better played using Les Paul lol >< Thanks though :D

You played great man, keep it up!

Thanks guys!!! At some point I was actually worried about some people would just assume the tone is bad since I'm playing the song with a strat and not a les paul. But I love my Strat more than anything! I'm glad it didn't disappoint me haha XD

Sounded so good, I was speeding up and slowing down
just to double check you were not playing "air guitar" to GunsNRoses

Great job! Personally, I think sounded better with a Strat. Looking forward to more.

Cool, buddy! Well done!
Good picking technique, good timing, good left hand/right hand coordination.
Sound was good, too.

The only thing I would like to mention is your finger vibrato, which could be improved a little and there were a couple of bending notes which weren't ok. You stopped shortly prior reaching the intended note.

Overall a very, very good first recording with very, very good performance! Keep 'em coming!

Great job! Only one thing, when it goes into the chorus without a solo, the rhythm chords are A,C,D not C,G,D. Other than that, great sound with that Strat, enjoyed!

Sometimes 3rds 5ths 7ths off from the original lead in-tune notes/chords
can be like an acapella duet. Still sounds good :D

+1

As for those who'd cast aspersions upon your hereditary legitimacy for playing this big-hair anthem on a Strat, screw 'em......you nailed that vibe beautifully! So save that money you might've spent on a Les Paul and buy a tophat instead.

RAWK ON!

8) 8) 8)
