My strat has a few finger prints on it and i would like to know what is the best cleaning product out there that gets rid a grime fingerprints and all of the above? Also what is the best polish out there?

I have a standard HSS upgade brown sunburst.

I use Grover GrimeGuard on all of my guitars... it works well, but you really have to buff it, or it'll leave the guitar looking cloudy... which is worse than fingerprint.

I use Planet Wave. They come in bottles of three products (they refer to it as steps 1, 2 & 3). The first one is called Restore which gets rid of swirl marks even minor scratches, believe me it works. I found using the tips of your fingers in a circular motion works best. Second step is Carnuba wax. The third step is spray on, to get rid of fingerprints etc. between uses. Any good quality micro fibre (the finer the better) cloth works well without the threat of scratching the finish.

I have both Fender mist and Dunlop 65, and a "guitar shammy" read expensive towel the music store sold me. :)

The local music shop seems to use Dunlop 65 by the barrel to polish up the instruments,.

I actually use a high quality ammonia free glass cleaner call Sprayway. This stuff never leaves streaks. You can get it at Home Depot.

Fender puts out a spray mist that works pretty good.

use a Fender polish cloth
there are 2 types
one needs to go with polish
the other can be used on it's own
i recommend the Fender polish cloth that can be used on it's own

I like the Fender care kit by Meguire's. I have restored some nice finishes on old beat up guitars with that kit. I get nice results.
