Depends on which tribute model you're talking about. If you're referring to the Fender Hendrix Voodoo Stratocaster (right handed guitar with reverse headstock, reverse angled bridge pickup and Jimi's image on the neck plate then you'll find it on the back of the headstock and it'll start with the characters TN7........

Interesting reading, in case :

Hendrix Stratocasters

Plus, do not forget the latest CS Limited Edition that could be considered in your choice:

Limited Edition 69 Stratocaster

Hope you'll find your answers there.

Y. :D

Hi, YVil :!: Thanks. Good to know the Hendrix info exists. Much appreciated.
I have strong interest.

In June 2012 I purchased the below LEFT-HANDED 2011 American
Standard Stratocaster guitar:

Then, had it flipped, installed new Schaller Strap Buttons on the small horn
and replaced the rear button. I kept the original strap button on the big horn.

I purchased a set of special Jimi Henderix Pickups from Guitar Fetish. The set features
reverse stagger - making Stratocaster power chords hotter & thicker! Jimi didn't flip
a righty guitar around to play lefty 'cause it looked cool- the reverse stagger creates
a slightly stronger "A" string and a slightly smoother "B" string- subtle but powerful.

Then, we reversed the nut and refiled the nut for right-handed play.

Then simply reversed the Ernie Ball strings, and jammed away

What do you think?
A Left Handed American Stratocaster flipped to a Jimi Hendrix Special = Yahooooooo!!!

Well, looks like yours is closer to the "real deal" than the Voodoo Strats (which are nice, btw).

Happy that I could help !

Yes. I wonder why the Hendrix were not all issued with flipped bodies.
If not flipped bodies, does the left handed neck make a "tone/sound" difference
or is the left handed neck mostly for looks and upside down tuning?
Would your guitars sound any different if you installed right handed necks?

BTW, do the Hendrix Voodoo guitars offer unique features like special pickups?

Just wondering what Fender did for the Voodoo?
Toppscore :)
