so i went into my local music store , and i was looking to buy a stander stratocaster(MIM) but they didn't have the right neck or colour i wanted. so he special ordered it from fender. now im really anxious to get the guitar but i don't know how long it will take for them to ship it to the store, anyone know how long it would be?

Once you've truly given up waiting for it and maybe even forgotten about it, the store will call you and tell you it is either delayed another two months (minimum) or that they received the wrong one but you should come in and check it out immediately if not sooner because it is "the best one they've ever seen".

Ask the store where it was ordered and see if they will call and ask. I've ordered before and it was two weeks, another took 6 weeks. Some people wait even longer. If, if, if, doesn't matter. Enjoy the anticipation.

i live in canada northern ontario.. so i guess i'm out of luck.ill just have to wait it out.. kind of regret buying locally i should have just ordered online

Probably better that you ordered locally, as I hear that the customs office usually gets stuff to the stores quicker than to an individual. And customs fees?
