I have a classic 50's in surf green. It's a great guitar. Have you played one yet, or did you see it online? I ask because it has the vintage 7.5 radius neck, which you may or may not like.

Classic 50,s is different than the Classic Player 50,s. The CP has a 12 radius. I very much liked mine when I had it. Very nice guitar.

Doesn't the Classic Player 50's have a 9.5" radius? I thought it was just the CP 60 that had the 12"?

My mistake for not reading carefully, classic series 50 has 7.5, classic player 50's has 9.5, classic player 60's has 12, i have a sonic blue cp 60's also with 12", Still is a nice strat.

you should get one of these Factory special Run 50s CPs. They have a nitro finish and come with a a G&G case! It has nicer specs than the entry level American Guitar IMO

+1 on the FSR Classic Player 50s Strat. I bought one last week and cannot stop playing it. My '87 American Standard is collecting dust and probably will continue to do so for quite a while. This FSR CP 50s Strat just looks, plays, and sounds incredible. IMHO it is the best Strat for the money right now. And supposedly only 200 were made. So if you're interested, I wouldn't wait too long.
