Works for Carl Verheyen. Last time I saw Eric Johnson in concert earlier this year, his trem claw was angled also. :wink:

Of course, mine is blocked and has 5 springs, so that's why I don't give advice on setting the claw myself. :lol:

I always figured that if there were 3 or 10 people doing it "right" and a million of us wrong, then what is right? And what is wrong? A Strat is made for quick changes and experimentation. Try everything, because you can always put it back the way it was.

I will stick with an even claw, even if that is wrong. I like my springs to have the same amount of tension on the bridge.

looks like i'm missing some clearance,but i didnt like it at 1/8" seemed way too much
