Hi, little question. Ik can buy a 1982 Fullerton 57 RI Stratocaster Sunburst. The neck says 5-27-82 but the potmeters are produced the 26th week of 1982. Is this possible (normally potmeters are older then the neck, no)? Everything looks OK and the guy is asking 1850 euro (=2275 USD), a good price or...?

The dates are within about a month of each other. Not unusual, no problem. There is no "normal" when it comes to dates of parts on a Fender guitar. The dates can even be years apart and still be a legit guitar.

Okay, thanx for the answer.

Anyone an opinion (or experience) on the Stratocaster Fullerton 57 RI? I also have an Am. Std. from '88, but a lot of fretwear, so or I go for the Fullerton if it's really a better guitar, or just replacing the frets of my '88 Std?
