Who owns one? Who can give an honest opinion on them? I am thinking of buying one as I have always wanted a Strat with a Floyd and these are considerably cheaper(in price) then the HSS American Standard with Floyd.

I haven't played one, but I have a huge GAS on that thing since I saw it in my local guitar store..

There's no USA Standard HSS with Floyd Rose. Fender did a Floyd Rose Classic Strat having the features you're looking for between 1992 and 2003.

I have a Blacktop Steatocaster with the Floyd Rose Special. Best bang for the buck. I personally did not like the stock pickups, so I did modify it. Some people are fine with the stock pickups. IMO the pickups are better than the stock pickups than the MIM Steatocaster Floyd Rose. Also the Statocaster Floyd Rose does not have the cut into the body that allows for more pull when using the tremolo for extreme up bends.

Hmm, I wouldn't have given this guitar any thought, but you folks have made it very interesting.

I'm gonna give one a whirl this weekend.

Don't mean to be so late to the topic, but I just got a Blacktop w/Floyd and after blocking the trem from pulling up (dive bomb only) I can honestly say it's one kicka** guitar for the money! I think the stock pickups sound great. It's got a great neck/radius. Very easy to play. Just an all around great guitar...

I have yet to see a Blacktop with a Floyd. I have seen a FSR MIM Strat HSS with a Floyd and rosewood fretboard. I am thinking about saving for it but I want to see what comes out in 2013. If they made one with a maple fretboard in Lake Placid Blue I would have start selling blood plasma again to get the money for it.
