I wouldn't be surprised if its' priced up in the stratosphere. I'd take a Robert Cray sig and tweak it and come up with a better guitar.

Kinda looks like a hodge podge of parts from different fender guitars... a partsocaster!

you are right, the one i was thinkin of was the octave guitar that is famous for him and himmy playin at the same time. sorry my mistake

Ah YES!! I had the good fortune of seeing them live, playing that guitar on stage together back in '86. I will never forget that show. Stevie was also joined by Steve Winwood and Johnny Copeland that night in NYC.

SRV and Double Trouble with the Fabulous T-Birds opening act at the Pier in NYC. Winwood and Copeland just showed up and jammed with Stevie. Jimmie also came out during Stevie's set to play on the double neck. Best show ever!
