It seem to me that I once saw a listing of all the two-digit codes (first two digits in the model number) that describe the country of origin of any strat?

Has anyone seen this list? Can you tell me where I can find it?

I remember seeing it somewhere too, but a quick search didn't get any hits. This might be of some help ?

Now that I think about it, it might have been in an old Frontline catalog.

Strataholic, I posted such a list 2 months ago, based on my own research, ie, not officially confirmed!

I went through a few old Frontlines ('95, '02, & '03) and came up with a list of Country of Origin and the First Three digits of Fender's Model numbers.

US: 010, 011, 019 (basses), 015 (custom shop), 110
Mexico: 013, 113, 014
Japan: 025, 027
Korea: 026

This doesn't include Squiers, sorry. Those numbers are 03X IIRC.
