Do the old green mica models have different pickups or neck/body design then the newer 2 tone version?

All of the John Mayer signature strats have the exact same specs, pickups, and hardware, only differing in color. The NOS BLK1 has the same specs as the others except for the tuners and gold hardware. The super expensive 83 Relic black one has different specs.

Mac...the '83' is a clone of the stage guitar and bears little semblance to the production series instruments.
