I'm proud to finally own a new standard stratocaster rosewood -sunburst. i don't have a 2000.00 strat but my playing will make up for the standard 500.00 i paid. also thank to fender for the 50.00 rebate, it helps. been also looking at the blues jr.III . anyway i'm part of the Strat community, i love it and it sounds great, i have no complaints. i always remember the strat sound, first started on them when i was 15yrs old, and strayed 16yrs to other guitars like PRS and finally back to the Standard Strat. I'm not going to leave her again, i haven't given her a name yet but i will. later!! lov'in it!

Love those rebates.
Wonder if Fender will put coupons in their magazine?

great! ive never had luck with mim pickups tho myself, but the body and other components are fine just takes some time to find the right necks as they seam to vary. realy hard to find a good mim maple fingerboard although my mim rosewood neck is very nice. just goes to show how fender can acomodate every price range
