Any way to tell if a neck is from a road worn strat by the serial number?One is for sale on ebay but the seller has neutral feedback for selling a neck as a "Lic by Fender" when it was a Squier neck (technically lic by Fender but a bit naughty)

I asked him if it was a genuine Road worn neck or a MIM self relic? he answered it was genuine. He is also selling a Fender Pro junior amp with a relic finish so maybe he does a bit of relicing so I am put off by this

Any advice?

Fender can tell, using only the serial number if you contact them.
Post a pic, or link to the ad and someone here can probably identify if legit or not.

Looks legit to me. Compare to this one listed on Fender's site. The worn spots on the neck look exactly the same.
