This is a Mexi-Strat body painted to custom design, with a birds eye maple 50's profile Deep V neck with standard pickups. What would you do to give this guitar soaring blues/guitar virtuoso tone?

don't need a pic to respond that to get soaring Blues tone you need a soaring Blues amp....
so, my answer is "what is......plug it into a good Blues amp" !

Take lessons from Buddy Guy. Play for 50 years. That might get you there.

I would throw in some Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials in her. Get my self a Pro JR Amp. Then I would lose everything, get drunk, kick a dog, tell your GF she was bad for you and must leave your life forever, wreck your car, have your doctor tell you you have little time left.

Then play your guitar like it's the last thing your gonna do in life. Yup that 'l do it right there, I guaranty it will.

I'd play soaring blues on it.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
