Dear All,

Please help me to authenticate this Stratocaster. I am interested to get this 2nd hand MIJ Stratocaster but I am unsure whether this is the real deal. The serial number is T023222. Many Thanks!

I am no expert on MIJ but i thought they were supposed to say made in japan on the neck at the neck joint? i could be wrong though.
also the rosewood plug looks a bit to long. for any definite answer though you will probably need more detailed photos

Looks like a genuine Turser-caster to me.

MIJ Fenders did say "Made in Japan" under the model name on the heastock on several models. This, however, doesn't look right. This looks like an early 1990's Squier Strat with the small headstock. Maybe that is what it is.....but this doesn't seem to have the same level of quality that I have seen in the many, many, many Japanese fenders I have seen. What's the price? It may be worth buying anyway if it's under $100

The guitar is being sold at $320. Seems like it's too good to be true.

Look online for Jay Turser guitars. They are copies of copies and made VERY cheap. You won't see you favourite players endorsing them.

Forewarned is forearmed.

Best of luck with the search.
